Meet Viola, Violet, Tiny Tina, and Poppy, four free crochet sneaker accessories flower patterns designed as sneaker accessories for kids. Each one is a quick make in 4ply cotton yarn using a 3mm hook, easy enough for a beginner, and small enough to finish in an evening. Pick one, or make the whole collection.

What You Will Need
For all four flowers:
3mm crochet hook, 4ply cotton yarn, two 2.5cm buttons per flower, sewing needle and thread.

Viola

Viola is a little bolder than Tiny Tina, but not quite as loud as Violet. A medium-sized flower with a confident personality.
Finished measurement: 7cm diameter
Start hookin’ here:
Using 3mm hook and 4ply yarn, ch12, join into a ring with a sl st into first ch.
Round 1: Ch2, 23dc into ring, close with a sl st into top of beg ch2.
Round 2: Ch5 (counts as 1tr, 2ch), 1tr into next dc, ch1, (skip next 2dc, 1tr, ch2, 1tr, ch1 into next dc) seven times in total, close with a sl st into third ch of beg ch5.
Round 3: Ch3, 1tr, ch2, 2tr into the ch-2 space below, 1dc into ch-1 space below. (2tr, ch2, 2tr, ch1 into next ch-2 space below, 1dc into 1ch space below) repeat seven times in total, close with a sl st into third chain of beg ch3.
Fasten off, darn in ends and block if desired. Pop over the button to secure onto the shoe.

Violet
Named after Jane’s wonderful nan, Violet is the biggest and boldest of the four. A classic layered flower with a bit of presence.
Finished measurement: 8cm diameter

Using 3mm hook and 4ply yarn, ch12, join into a ring with a sl st into first ch.
Round 1: Ch3, 23tr into ring, close with a sl st into top of beg ch3.
Round 2: Ch5 (counts as 1tr, 2ch), 1tr into next tr, ch1, (skip next 2tr, 1tr, ch2, 1tr, ch1 into next tr) seven times in total, close with a sl st into third ch of beg ch5.

Tiny Tina might be the smallest of the four, but she is elegant, fast to make, and works just as well as a hairclip as a sneaker accessory. A one-round wonder.

Round 1: Ch1, *1htr, 3tr, 1htr, 1dc into the ring; rep from * three times, 1htr, 3tr, 1htr into the ring, join with a sl st into top of beg ch1.
Fasten off, darn in ends and block if desired. Pop over the button to secure onto the shoe.
Poppy
Poppy is the neatest and most structured of the four. A three-round pattern with a delicate, open texture that sits flat and stays put.

Finished measurement: 5.5cm diameter

Using 3mm hook and 4ply yarn, ch10, join into a ring with a sl st into first ch.
Round 1: Ch1, 15dc into ring, close with a sl st to beg ch1.
Round 2: Ch4, *1tr into next dc, ch1; rep from * 15 times, sl st into fourth ch of beg ch4.
Round 3: Ch1, *1dc into ch1 space, 1dc into top of tr; rep from * 15 times, ch1, sl st into top of beg ch1.
Fasten off, darn in ends and block if desired. Pop over the button to secure onto the shoe.
