Learn how to knit i-cords, these narrow tubes of knitting, worked in the round on two double pointed needles are a must have skill in any knitters repertoire. Knitted i-cord can be used as an edging and as the basis for cute accessories. In this class I will teach you how to knit i-cord and construct your very own i-cord flower brooch. Once you have mastered the i-cord, why not sign up for my Make a Beaded Bracelet class? (3.30 Thursday).

This class is suitable for beginners and children age 10 plus but students must be able to knit and cast on.

If you would like to learn how to apply beads to your knitting without painstakingly threading hundreds of beads onto your yarn first, this is the class for you. You will knit a cute beaded bracelet, whilst learning how to apply beads using a crochet hook as you knit.

We will look at the difference between pre-stringing beads and using a crochet hook and discuss the benefits. This class is aimed at those who can knit and purl. You do need to know how to knit an I-cord (to learn this you can come to my Knit an I-Cord Brooch class at 1pm on Thurs 9th).

15:30 – 16:30 in the Prima Make and Take workshop £12 (class code 97) – Buy your tickets here…..
