Please what are you saying after insert the hook? sounds like fifty pal, but it can’t be! very nice video. I’m familiar with this technique, but this is the most succinct video I’ve seen.
I’m saying, ‘insert the hook as if to purl’ I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
What size crochet hook are you using?

I love this. I really need to get into beading. It’s something I’ve not ventured into yet. I’m a complete novice though. I wouldn’t even know where to go bead shopping! I must investigate. Thanks for a great tutorial!
