No Mind To Worry, blissful sock knitting at its best
Meet the cover star of Lazy Sunday Socks, the collection was inspired by my perfect Sunday. Kicking back listening to music, knitting on something precious, something totally indulgent, just for me. The lyrics from The Small Faces song, perfectly encapsulated my thoughts and feeling on this perfect day. ‘Lazy sunday afternoon, got no mind to worry…..’
Pretty berry clusters and rivulets of dewdrops decorate these luxurious beauties, but you can achieve all the delicate patterning without worrying about cables – simple yarnovers and knitted decreases create the luscious shapes, which I have highlighted with beads for a flash of elegance. They are worked in Titus 4ply, a shimmering blend of merino and silk.
This cuff-down sock pattern, with a gusset, heel flap and grafted toe, contains step-by-step instructions for the easy crochet hook method of beading (which avoids the need to pre-thread all the beads at once). Beading is optional of course! And if you intend wearing your lovely socks with closed shoes, I suggest omitting the beads on the foot section.
Treat yourself and your feet to a pair of indulgent beaded socks, because you’re worth it!
The pre-order for Lazy Sunday Socks opens on Tuesday 12th April, sign up for my newsletter to receive special extras and maybe a discount.
