The shops are packed with cute little novelty decorations, some of the blogs I follow are starting THE countdown, some even going so far as to work out how many rows/hours per project and days left to knit.
I have been a busy bee this week, I have released a new pattern book, ‘Christmas Glamour, 6 Mini Knitted Christmas Decorations’. I have also taken the plunge and purchased a ‘proper’ camera (which I will tell you all about it in a later post), but for now check out some of my pictures I snapped for the book.
So if you fancy a little light, super quick festive knitting check out my book here on Ravelry. Priced at only £3 which is a total bargain (even if I do say so myself) with the patterns also available individually at £1.50 each. These miniature delights are worked in 4ply yarn, so great for using up some of that left over yarn. The patterns include tips to get you started and video links to techniques you may be new to, such as stranded colour work and knitting in the round (that is as difficult as it gets).
The festive mini sweaters will make great bottle toppers. Slip one over a miniature bottle and you have a really cute gift.
Why not hang a pair of mittens in your car to replace your furry dice?
With it’s tiny pom pom this will look great on top of a bottle of festive cheer!
The mittens are worked flat and the beads are sewn on after, simple!
The pattern includes an easy to follow guide to making these cute miniature coat hangers
I hope I have inspired you to cast on. As always I would love to see pictures of your finished projects on my Facebook page.
